In this session, attendees will learn about universal access design and its importance. This session will look at what universal design is and how we can apply this knowledge to our own practices.
As a result of attending this session, participants will learn:
- the seven principles of universal design (UD)
- important things to know about UD
- UD versus accessibility
- why building codes are not enough
- the economic argument for UD
